FAQ's

What is Physical Therapy?
Physical Therapy is a conservative approach to treat musculoskeletal pain or functional deficits that cause disruption in your everyday life.

Why should I choose Physical Therapy?
Physical Therapy utilizes an approach to treat you as a person instead of a diagnosis. We incorporate manual therapy, therapeutic excises, education and a patient specific program that is customized to your lifestyle. Our goal is to have you return to your active lifestyle successfully and quickly.

What should I bring to my first visit?
-Insurance card
-Drivers license
-Insurance information if involved in a motor vehicle accident or worker’s compensation accident
-Loose, comfortable clothing
-Diagnostic reports including x-rays, MRI’s, and medical records
-Patient Intake Forms (located under our patient services tab)

You will then be fully educated on your diagnosis and a treatment program will be set up to address your specific needs.

How long does a typical session last?
We value our patient’s time so a typical treatment session will last from 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.

How often will I need to come to Physical Therapy?
On average, patents are seen approximately 10-12 visits however, some patients require less and some require more. It depends on you as a patient and how your body responds to care.

Who will see me?
You will be treated by a licensed physical therapist at each visit. We do not utilize technicians or unskilled staff to treat patients. We will try to keep you with the same physical therapist for each visit.

How do I pay for physical therapy?
We will call and verify your physical therapy benefits through your health insurance and provide you with that information. Your insurance may require you to pay a copay, co-insurance or deductible.
